Yoga Pilot

IF YOU think you’ve got a great lifestyle check out this bombshell and think again.
Meet the gorgeous jet-setting pilot who relaxes from her busy day job by practicing yoga to complete the most picture-perfect backdrops.
The series of picturesque images show stunning Swedish airline pilot, Malin Rydqvist (29) showcasing her impressive advanced yoga headstands, king dancer pose and perfecting the tricky monkey pose by suspending herself in the air.
The collection of shots show her pulling shapes against magnificent mountains, sparkling open water and on beautiful beaches.
Other shots show Malin in her day job, a career she has done for six years now, sitting in the cockpit of her Boeing 737-800.
As well as juggling her career and passion for yoga, Malin also runs her own yoga clothing company called Fly Me Yoga. Malin lives with her fiancee and two cats called Stella and Ragnar.
“I started my Instagram for my friends to share my life abroad and since then yoga has become a bigger and bigger part of my life so it just felt natural to also share my yoga journey,” said Malin.
“I want to inspire people to believe that anything is possible and to dare them to get out of their comfort zone.
“If you want to work as a pilot, do it. If you love yoga, start.
“I believe that the human body is made for movement, we are all shaped differently and with so much potential, through my yoga poses I want to show what our bodies are capable of.
“I love the connection between the body and mind.
“Many of us have a very busy life packed with schedules and checklists and yoga helps us to stop and reflect.
“We learn to listen, feel, breath and to be thankful and kind. Most importantly, we learn to accept and love ourselves.”
Malin has visited more than 37 countries on her travels but says that most of her pictures were taken in Croatia and she is currently learning the language. Surprisingly, Malin has only attended one yoga class in Washington D.C where she learnt the basics and has since taught herself the more advanced moves.
She explains that the best thing about yoga is that she can practice it anywhere but prefers to practice outside weather permitting.
“I combine the beautiful places I go to on my travels with my way of expressing myself through yoga and all of the positive feedback I received encouraged me to continue,” added Malin.
“One of my biggest dreams right now is to one day open a yoga resort.”
