ENJOY STUNNING views of the spectacular Alaskan countryside from your very own private island, available for just over £2m.
Incredible images show the 0.58-acre island from above surrounded by water, the shimmering lake as viewed from the outside decking at the property and the snowy mountain peaks in the background.
Other striking shots show inside the three-bed house on the island with a modern kitchen, cosy bedrooms and spacious living areas with huge windows allowing the property to be flooded with natural light and offering those remarkable views from anywhere in the house.
The Twin Islands are located in Sitka, Alaska, USA and one of them is currently listed on www.vladi-private-islands.de for just around £2m.
“One of the finest Island properties in Southeast Alaska complete with remodelled main house including gourmet kitchen with granite counters, three private bedrooms and large family room,” states the listing.
“Detached master suite next to the house, two additional guest quarters, separate fitness/media room, shed and fish processing room, deep water dock that will accommodate large yachts, 360 degree views – truly an amazing property.”
The Twin Islands were originally named in 1880 by W. E. George, a local pilot who called them “The Sisters” on U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Chart 710 published in 1885.
Alaska, northwest of Canada, is the largest and most sparsely populated U.S. state. It’s known for its diverse terrain of open spaces, mountains and forests, with abundant wildlife and many small towns.
It’s a destination for outdoor activities like skiing, mountain biking and kayaking. Massive Denali National Park is home to Denali (formerly called Mount McKinley), North America’s highest peak.
