LOOK inside the minimalist adventure hotel that is so jaw-droppingly well-designed it will leave you thirsting to visit. Striking images show the stunning Downtown Camper by Scandic, located in Stockholm.
Luxury has not been forgotten despite the minimalist interior as large double beds lie in cosy rooms with desks and comfy chairs provided.
Other stunning snaps show spacious bathrooms, unique reception area with canoes hanging from the ceiling and the communal areas including the restaurant and bar where a wood-burning stove takes centre stage. Downtown Camper by Scandic is Scandic’s third signature hotel in central Stockholm and it offers a hotel experience where ‘nature meets the urban landscape’.
The hotel is designed to be the starting point for curious travellers who want to discover the real Stockholm, and a social meeting place for locals looking to get together with spontaneity, relaxation and togetherness in focus. Unique to the hotel is a completely new room category that sleeps up to 12 people.
Downtown Camper is located in the heart of the city in one of Stockholm’s most unexplored urban neighborhoods, Brunkebergstorg. The location provides the perfect starting point for travellers who ‘can switch seamlessly between work and play, activity and relaxation, and people seeking genuine experiences’.

The hotel’s unique Camper Co-Living concept allows up to 12 people to stay in adjoining rooms with a common social space and thus create their own hotel experience. Additionally, there is a large proportion of connecting rooms for people travelling in larger groups.”
Prices vary but a room sleeping two adults could set you back around £120 per night. The hotel has 494 rooms including nine suites and 16 Camper Co-Living suites for six to 12 people with adjoining rooms and common social spaces.
There are also five creative spaces for meetings and events including a games room, a 25-seater cinema and a board room.
Other features of Downtown Camper include The Nest which is a rooftop wellness centre with experience showers as well as a sauna, gym and pool.
The unique look of The Nest is shown in one of the images as it mimics a bird’s nest, hence the name.
