“The fjords of Tvedestrand are famous for their beautiful scenery, clean waters and excellent fishing opportunities, and the island is ideally situated just a short distance by boat to places like Lyngør, Risør and Arendal with multiple shops and very good restaurants.

“The building is thoughtfully planned by the architect to exploit the full use of the sunlight, that flows into the rooms from the first ray in the morning until the last ray of the evening, and also to blend in to landscape almost without being visible from the sea.

“The layout is also well planned, with a large reception area (hall) leading up a few steps to an incredible living room with both fantastic views and different zones to allow a large family or group of friends/colleagues to coexist in harmony. The terraces and gardens are easy accessible from two sides of the living room, through large sliding doors.

“There is also a great dining area with beautiful views to the sea and pier, next to the kitchen area. There are a total of four bedrooms, a loft, bathroom, toilet and storage. The house comfortably sleeps 11 persons, and the full capacity is approximately 15 people.

“The surrounding areas in and around the fjords have a very rich activity range, including, golf courses, riding centres, bike parks, tennis courts, ball games and water sports centres among some.

“The distance from the mainland harbour to the island is about five minutes by boat. The lovely city of Tvedestrand is reachable within 15 minutes by car from the mainland harbour, and the harbour is a mere 80 minute drive from Kristiansand International Airport. There is a right to park one car and a berth for one boat on the mainland.”
