MEET the shy gamer who transformed herself into a DOLL after binge-watching an anime series and now has over twenty-three THOUSAND followers on Instagram.
Dental assistant, Ksenija Valentinowa (24), from Kazakhstan and now residing in Germany, grew up as a very shy person and loved to play computer games.
One picture shows the cat lover holding a Hello Kitty mug to her mouth with her animated cat eyes staring at you, while another shows her super-slim doll-like physique in a black outfit with a choker necklace.
Another image shows her exhibiting a hypnotised gaze with a black dress and further pictures show her porcelain white skin and petite nose with shoulder-length charcoal-coloured hair.
“As a child I have always watched the anime series and for sixteen years I’ve had an interest in being a makeup artist and with time, I became better, so it turned into my hobby,” Ksenija said.
“A few months ago, I opened an Instagram account and people liked my pictures, so I have continued posting.
“My idol is Valeria Lukyanova. She was the first human doll I’ve seen and in my opinion, she has the perfect doll look.
“I love so many anime characters, but I can’t ever decide which one I love the most. If I had to decide which character I mostly look like, I would have to say Kurunoma Sawako from Kimi ni todoke.
“My favourite anime characters are from my childhood Sailor Chibimoon (Sailor Moon), Nana Osaki (NANA), Akame (Akame ga Kill) and Boa Hancock (One Piece).”
Her hobby is often mistaken for being her day-to-day lifestyle by the public, but Ksenija insists that she doesn’t always go out looking like a doll.
“I’ve never had any bad experiences; on the internet, people like my posts but in real life I don’t always go out as a doll,” she said.
“It takes me about one to two hours to apply my makeup in the morning.”
