MEET the Swedish pilot with 62 thousand Instagram followers after documenting glamour of her profession and jet setting lifestyle.
Incredible images show Susanna Sundberg (40) from Göteborg, Sweden, taking care of business on the runway and in the cockpit as she prepares her plane for flight.
Other stunning shots show the blonde bombshell, who is a star on Instagram, pulling some remarkable yoga poses on exotic beaches, feeding camels and snorkelling in clear-blue waters.
While the experienced pilot likes to show off the best sides of her job she’s keen to stress there’s much more to it.
“What you don’t see is early mornings, hard times of studying and my bad mood when I can’t be home for Christmas,” she said.
“The perks of the job are of course the variation, great colleagues, and nice destinations.
“It’s also an amazing feeling to fly a plane that size. The feeling when tons of metal lifts off the ground is fantastic.”
The Pilot, First Officer on Bae146/AvroRJ, is also keen to stress that safety must be a priority for anyone in the aviation business.
“If there are photos of me flying they are taken by a colleague or friend on jumpseat,” she explained.
“In some companies we were allowed to use GoPros while flying and a few times I have been taking snapshots from the videos.
“I think there are too many pilot selfies out there, we must focus on our job and also give a serious and professional impression on social media.
“When I fly or do my pre-flight check I NEVER stop for taking a selfie. During longer turnaround on the ground it is ok of course. Safety above all.”
Susanna has visited more than 50 countries on her travels but lives with her Belgian boyfriend in western Belgium.
She has been flying since 2001 and flying commercially for the last 10 years and likes to relax by practicing yoga wherever she can.
“I love the relaxing and meditative part of yoga,” she added.
“I have slowly transferred from “Instagram yoga” with cool poses in nice locations to find a more spiritual and relaxing approach for it.
“Most of my yoga is done in my living room or in my garden without cool poses, just easy stretching, body awareness and mediation.”
