HILARIOUS images show an Indonesian White’s tree frog sitting upright on a tree log while dipping its toes in the water, just like a human.
Snapped in West Sumatra, Indonesia, this species is also known as the Dumpy Tree Frog.
The “White” in their name comes from the name of the naturalist who originally described the species, John White.
This frog can change its colour based on temperature, mood, and time of day.
These images were taken by Yan Hidayat, a wildlife photographer from West Sumatra, Indonesia.
“I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this frog leisurely sitting on the log and just had to take my camera out,” he told mediadrumworld.com.
“In my opinion, these images of the frog convey the meaning of a serene and peaceful life.
“I love capturing such rare and adorable moments of the wildlife.”
