“This wonderful collection of converted former farm buildings provides a charming, unique home in a beautiful setting which offers superb versatility and scope depending on the lifestyle required,” states the listing.
“Currently arranged as a main 3/4 property, with one self contained holiday let (converted approximately two years ago), a photography studio complex and further framing studio.
“However the outbuildings could very easily be converted (subject to any necessary planning consents) to extend the holiday let accommodation if desired.
“The main house is full of character with many wonderful full height ceilings, an abundance of beautiful exposed timber, tile flooring and open plan layout creating a superb sense of spacious living.
“Many rooms enjoy large windows, with bi-fold doors opening to an impressive sprawling verandah which extends the living space considerably and is perfect for relaxation and outdoor entertaining.
“In addition the beautiful Master Bedroom suite also benefits from a wonderful terrace/balcony which links seamlessly to the bedroom with further bi-fold doors opening out, enjoying glorious rural views of the gardens and adjoining countryside.”
Pluckley has been branded as possibly the most haunted village in England with the infamous Red Lady ghost heavily contributing to that reputation.
She is said to be a dark haired woman in a bright red gown that is seen searching the graveyard of St Nicholas Church for the unmarked grave of her child.
A huge number of other ghosts have been spotted in the village including the spectre of the highwayman hid in a tree at the Pinnock, a phantom coach and horses. The ghost of a gypsy woman who drowned in a stream, the hanging body of a schoolmaster and the White Lady who haunted the same church as the Red Lady.
