YOU COULD stay in these stunning apartments that were once part of a WW2 isolation hospital for just £12 per person per night.

Since then a number of famous former residents have been proud to call the property home. These include The Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth, a German rock star who created a recording studio inside the property that was frequented by a variety of well-known musicians and was packed full of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia.
From music to the monarchy, royalty of another kind was also welcomed to the property, while under the ownership of a local politician known for hosting lavish garden parties. Prince George landed his plane in the grounds of the estate to attend one such celebration, before attending the Royal Welsh Show in 1933.
