THIS SEXY couple who visited a new country each month for 22 months while documenting each step for their 86K Instagram followers only met thanks to a freak slip of the hand that led to instant animal attraction.
Jake Snowden, 26, from Adelaide, Australia and Marie Ferlings, 28, from Dusseldorf, Germany met completely by chance on a Thai beach two years ago when Marieâs friend dropped her phone in the ocean and Jake was on hand to console her with a beer.

After parting ways four days later with the pair due to travel to different countries, Jake knew he had to find Marie again and set about making the most romantic of gestures to win her lasting love.
Images show the stunning pair enjoying their travels around the globe, from swimming in crystal clear waters to exploring some of the worldâs most popular cities.

âThe story of how we met is a pretty crazy story really and it all started on a beach in Thailand,â said Jake.
âWe wouldâve never met if Marieâs friend didnât drop her phone in the ocean, she decided to forget about it and have a few drinks on the beach and I was there waiting with a beer in hand.

âAfter four days we parted ways because we had flights booked to different countries, but I knew I had to find her again.
âI entrusted a man in Cambodia with my passport and ÂŁ120 so that he could arrange a Vietnamese visa for me in two hours allowing me to catch a bus to Vietnam to surprise her.

âWe definitely knew we had something special after spending the whole of our time there together.â
Jake then spoke about how the coupleâs relationship has unfolded since and where it has taken them.

âOur relationship feels like it developed at light speed – thatâs what travelling the world as a couple does to a relationship,â he said.
âAfter only two months we became official, when you travel together you spend every waking hour together, you see each other experience every emotion there is.

âWe feel like our relationship had been through what most relationships wouldnât go through in five years, it really solidified us as a team and taught us everything we needed to know about each other to comfortably take some big risks regarding our future.
âTogether we have travelled 22 countries in 22 months, it is our life mission to keep our countries above our months!

âWe met in Asia and explored Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia before heading to the USA, Mexico, Central America and the top of South America.
âAfter that we visited Marieâs family in Germany and checkout out Spain and the Netherlands. From there we flew to Australia and worked for three months while planning out next big trip across Europe.â

Jake then discussed his and Marieâs love of photography and the important role it plays in their big adventure, revealing the reaction they get on social media.
âWe started our Instagram together midway through 2016, the commitment and energy we have put into photography has gradually increased from then until now,â he said.

âEarly in our relationship we explored some incredible parts of the world and it would have been an injustice not to take photos and share them with our friends and family.
âAs we started to learn more, and our photos started to become better we realised photography was becoming a real passion of ours.

âWe love that we can capture a moment and keep it forever, it only takes a couple of scrolls and we start to revisit some of our best moments that may otherwise have faded from memory.
âWe always get a really positive reaction from people, although most of the time they mention they could never do it themselves.

âWe understand that everyone is different and the life we lead is not for everybody but the message we try to portray to our followers is not to follow what weâve done but to chase whatever it is they want that gives them the most fulfilment.â
Finally, Jake spoke about what he and Marie still have to tick off their bucket list before giving a message to anyone else thinking of travelling the world.

âWe definitely have a lot left to tick off our bucket list, in fact I donât think it will ever end,â he said.
âOur plans for this year are to spend some more time in Asia, we are really looking forward to visiting some new islands in Indonesia as well as new countries like the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

âLater in the year we are super excited to see the north of Africa and explore both Morroco and Egypt, one bucket list place we are really excited for is Petra in Jordan which we plan to see this year.
âItâs so easy to overcomplicate things and worry about the finer details that you lose the emotion you had when you first thought of an idea.

âThe fear or hesitation we all have is a natural response to exposing ourselves to something uncomfortable, it would be easier to stay at home but not as fulfilling and you wouldnât experience so much personal growth.
âSo, when you feel that hesitation, realise itâs a good thing and then make your move.â
