THIS BUSTY pinup was bullied because of her ENORMOUS boobs to the point where she was taken out of school and had a breast reduction but after a photoshoot in 2014 that made her feel sexy she is unashamedly flaunting it for all to see as a plus-sized lingerie model.

Model and photographer, Lexy Lu (32) from Cambridge, United Kingdom, was ridiculed for her curves while she was at school which led to her being taken out of secondary school and being home-schooled for her GCSEs.

Even when she was in college and the bullying had stopped, Lexy still felt conscious of her figure and often put herself down in comparison to her slimmer friends, which later led Lexy to undergo a breast reduction from 38K to 36G.
However, when Lexy received a makeover shoot in 2014 as a gift, she became amazed at how fun the shoot was for her. As someone who frequently hid from the camera, the makeover shoot opened up Lexy’s passion for modelling and embracing her fuller figure.

Now, Lexy does regular modelling shoots, often wearing corsets to accentuate her curves, making her feel at her most confident. During some phases, Lexy will wear a corset for 23 hours a day, even sleeping in one.
Lexy owns 40 corsets, ranging from 26 inches to 22 inches in size as she admits that some people stare at her for wearing a corset openly in public, but she hopes to end the judgement and stigma that comes with having curves.

“I was always on the plump side, but it wasn’t a problem until secondary school,” said Lexy.
“I was badly bullied at secondary school for my curvy appearance and it took an extreme toll on my mental health. I was taken out of school at 14 and entered a mental health facility for young people.

“With regular counselling and medication, I was able to move forward and complete my GCSE’s with some home tutoring.
“I went on to college and life was better there, but I was always conscious of being large and I did feel inferior to my slimmer friends. I went on to have a breast reduction because of those feelings.
“However, I’m not so far from my original size again due to weight fluctuations and hormones. Now I can embrace it and I actually like being busty.

“I first started modelling in 2014 after a makeover shoot was booked for me as a gift. I usually refused to have my photo taken so I was amazed at how much I enjoyed the shoot and the fact I actually liked the final images.
“The photographer asked if I had any social media accounts to tag and it all began from there.

“Modelling brings out a side of me that I didn’t know I had. I feel confident and sassy once the shoot gets going, although I am always nervous beforehand.
“I wore a corset for my very first shoot and I was really excited about wearing one. Then, only a few months after that I was paid to model one for a designer.

“Now I wear corsets really often – for some periods, I’ve worn them daily for 23 hours a day. I regularly wear them in my day to day life, like when I’m just relaxing at home, while I sleep or while I’m out shopping or travelling anywhere.
“Corsets make me stand taller and they accentuate my curves to make me feel more confident. I find the corseted silhouette so beautiful and I definitely feel more attractive when I’m wearing one.

“I actually own about 40 corsets and they range from 26 inches to 22 inches. I always have to season a corset gradually and I only wear well-made designs, so I’ve never experienced any pain from them – I actually find wearing heels more uncomfortable than corsets.”
Lexy hopes to break the stigma of being plus size and to encourage more women to find their sexy side as she did with modelling as she spoke about how curvy women are often expected to cover up more.

“People do stare when I go out in a tight-laced corset and sometimes, they even ask to take selfies with me. I get lots of positive comments from women and they often ask about waist training, so they can try it themselves. Some people even ask to touch my waist.
“My family have seen me come from a dark place and transform my life so now they’re all so happy for me.

“I want to show people that curves are not a crime. There is still a prevailing attitude that curvy, especially busty, women should cover up and hide away.
“We are all different and some people are destined to be fuller figured, they should not have to feel ashamed and should be able to love themselves like everyone else. People have a right to self esteem regardless of their shape or size.

“I think we are reaching the point where it is no longer a novelty seeing a plus size woman on a magazine cover, and that is such a great step. Seeing different body types and sizes represented should help future generations be more accepting.
“There is still judgement and controversy surrounding being curvy, but acceptance is creeping in more and more.”
