Incredible pictures show students from 12 societies at the University of Bristol snapped in the nude as they rehearse their lines for a play, displaying their shuttlecocks on the badminton court and a group of fencers hiding their modesty with tactically placed protective facemasks.

Other spectacular pictures show the ultimate frisbee team standing proud in the park, the lifesaving society letting it all hang out underwater and the Snowsports society turning their backs to the camera on the dry slopes.

The calendar was organised by the University of Bristol’s Raising and Giving (RAG) society with proceeds going to three local charities. The images were taken by Bryan Wong. RAG’s events officer, Paige Taylor spoke about the calendar’s success.

“The calendar has become an annual event within RAG’s fundraising, due to the pure enthusiasm of the student body,” she said.

“We have three wonderful charities to be fundraising for. Bristol Nightline, who operate between eight o’clock at night and eight in the morning and are there for people to talk to when they might feel alone.

“Womankind which is a local Bristol based charity on Gloucester Road who help women feel empowered and offer therapy and advice for all.

“The CATS Campaign whose goal is to educate young people on the signs and symptoms of cancer.”

“We aim to raise as much as possible over the year and right now we have nearly sold out of our first run of calendars which equates to a good run of money for the charities. We’d like to order another run ready for the new year.”

So far, Paige estimates that they have raised ÂŁ700 through selling the calendar.
