TAKE ALL-INCLUSIVE to the next level with a stay at this exotic private island for £2,200 per night.
Incredible images show the 3000-square-foot luxury villa with comfortable chairs, glimmering pools and spacious rooms filled with natural light.
Other striking shots show the paradise island from above with lush greenery surrounding the manmade resort and sparkling blue ocean waters off the coast of the island.
Gladden Island lies directly on the edge of the widest and most picturesque section of the Belize Barrier Reef in the Caribbean Sea.
Located 20 miles off the coast of Placencia, Belize, Gladden is the furthest island out from the mainland and closest to the protected side of the reef where the water is calm and clear. The magical “Gladden Split” where the whale sharks congregate once a year is a mere few miles away.
Exclusive use of the island costs around £2,200 for two people per night and £2,660 for four people per night, with a minimum four-night stay required.
The price includes all meals prepared by a gourmet chef, all drinks, activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving and PADI certification, spa treatments, various mainland excursions, transfers from and to Belize City. Included in the price for a seven night stay is a one-way 35 minute helicopter transfer over the barrier reef directly to Gladden.
“Stand in the entryway and let your eyes wander across the swimming pool to the coral reef beyond,” reads the listing.
“Slip into the master suite, a soothing enclave of dark woods complemented by wide windows overlooking the ocean. Climb to the roof terrace to soak up the sun and bask in the panorama of aquamarine lagoons as far as the eye can see.
“The villa was built for two, but a second master bedroom can comfortably accommodate another couple should you decide that such dazzling beauty deserves to be shared.
“Moon lit dining on our roof top terrace, romantic dinners on the beach, or pool side tapas are standard fare.
“Organic produce grown in Gladdens Garden, fresh fish straight from the surrounding waters, and dishes accompanied by our curated wine collection ensure that dining reaches new heights on Gladden. Le Cordon Bleu trained in house chef Colleen Leube creates custom meals to guests tastes.
“Cuisine never gets boring when guests are treated to an array of visiting chefs allowing guests to sample the best of Belizian cuisine.”
