WATCH the farcical moment one team wraps up the win by playing rock, paper, scissors to decide the outcome of a weather-affected match.

Stormy weather forced the two teams to cancel their lacrosse match but neither were content to leave it there.

Both teams huddle round as their captains take part in a tense game as Western Michigan University (WMU) eventually play paper against Dayton Rock’s rock to grab the win.

WMU certainly seem to enjoy their novel victory as their team celebrates while Dayton Rock slump off in defeat.

“One of the greatest game ending decisions of all time,” said a spokesperson for WMU Men’s Lacrosse.

“When Lightning forces both teams to cancel the game tied at 0-0 the players must decide who’s the winner.

“In the greatest fashion of all backyard sports Rock, Paper Scissors will decide the “winner” of the game.

“Of course, this is all in good fun and sportsmanship. The players wanted to compete and have fun before everyone had to take off and go back to their respective universities.”
