Star Wars Mannequin Challenge
By Mark McConville
LIKE they have fallen victim to a Jedi mind trick now even Star Wars Storm Troopers are featured in the Mannequin Challenge.
Amusing video footage – which would have Darth Vader spinning in his grave – shows the Storm Troopers frozen in time as they launch an assault along a beach.
The video also shows the soldiers paying respect to a fallen comrade using his helmet mounted on a gun as a makeshift gravestone.
Stunning pictures capture each stage of the challenge as the troopers prepare to attack the Rebel Alliance.
The video was taken by Force Storm Entertainment and uploaded to their YouTube channel where they produce live action short films, parodies, pranks and Vlogs.
The footage was produced by American actor and Force Storm Entertainment Executive Producer Noah Fleder (24) from Los Angeles.
“Jameson Mitchell called me with the connection with storm troopers both coming up with the idea to shoot a Star Wars mannequin challenge,” he said.
“He coordinated the troopers, I produced it and had our director/Camera Operator Tommy Trinh show up onset to shoot the film.
“The beauty of Star Wars is that it brings every race, every colour, way of people and even multiple generations from old to young for the love of the sagas and I think that’s a beautiful thing.”
Noah started Force Storm Entertainment at the age of 21 after working as an actor and stuntman in Hollywood.
“After a few years I wanted to start shooting my own action and I am a huge Star Wars fan,” he said.
“Our first film was reviewed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens Director JJ Abrams who complimented how well done our video was.
“Our second Film hit over 66 million views, all within the space of a couple months.”
